PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
For 100 days continuous protection against the following helminths susceptible to Benzimidazole-type anthelmintics Haemonchus spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Ostertagia spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Trichuris spp., Nematodirus spp.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
- For 100 days continuous prevention of pasture contamination with nematode eggs of parasites susceptible to Benzimidazole-type anthelmintics.
- For the treatment and prevention of selenium deficiency in sheep for at least 210 days.
- For the treatment of ewes pre-lambing to protect lambs at foot against selenium deficiency until weaning.
- For the treatment and prevention of cobalt deficiency in sheep for 100 days. The capsule will release about 1mg cobalt/day.
- Increases the vitamin B12 concentration in milk of treated ewes.
WITHHOLDING PERIOD
Nil.
DOSE RATE
Only animals between 40 and 80Kg should be dosed with this product.
APPLICATION METHOD
Using the "Captec Sheep Dosing Gun" gently place the capsule, domed end first, over the back of the animal's tongue. Ensure that the capsule is positioned as far down the animal's throat as the dosing gun will permit. Release the capsule. Allow the animal's swallowing reflex to transport the capsule to the stomach. Gently withdraw the dosing gun. Ensure that each animal has swallowed the capsule by observing the animal for a short time after dosing.
